Football Recap: Willard Comes Up Short

Willard fell victim to Webb City and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 55-0 defeat at the hands of the Cardinals. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Willard's record is now 1-6. As for Webb City, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Willard will square off against rival Joplin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Webb City is set to challenge their familiar foe Carthage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
