Softball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Whitnall's Winning Streak

After flying high against Milwaukee Lutheran on Monday, Whitnall came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the Kenosha Tremper Trojans by a score of 4-2 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Falcons have suffered since April 12th.

Whitnall moved to 12-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Kenosha Tremper, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitnall will square off against Brookfield East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenosha Tremper, they will take on Shoreland Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pacers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.56 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
