Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Comes Up Short

Mauldin lost against Dorman back in August of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mavericks fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15.

Kenzie Hang was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and one assist.

Mauldin's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Dorman, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Mauldin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wando on the 26th. As for Dorman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Powdersville on the 26th.
