Baseball Recap: Hampton County Comes Up Short at Home Against Colleton County

Hampton County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Colleton County Cougars on Tuesday, falling 15-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Colleton County and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Hampton County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Edisto at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Colleton County, they will challenge Goose Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
