Sturgis posted their closest victory since August 20th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Paw Paw Red Wolves. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Red Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Sturgis moved to 6-14-3 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Paw Paw, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sturgis is set to take on their familiar foe Plainwell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Paw Paw will face off against rival Otsego at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
