After losing to West Clermont the last time they met, Turpin decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Spartans walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Wolves on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by exactly four runs.

Turpin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Clermont, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-8.
