Softball Recap: Cuyahoga Falls Takes a Loss

Cuyahoga Falls came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-1 to the Tallmadge Blue Devils. The Black Tigers have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Cuyahoga Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Tallmadge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cuyahoga Falls will square off against Aurora at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greenmen's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Black Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tallmadge, they will take on Walsh Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
