Cape Henlopen and Polytech are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Cape Henlopen Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Polytech Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Polytech took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cape Henlopen, who comes in off a win.

Cape Henlopen is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Milford, who was ranked 25th at the time (Cape Henlopen was ranked 16th). Cape Henlopen walked away with a 57-46 win over Milford on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Polytech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 61-45 to Sussex Central, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Cape Henlopen is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Polytech, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.

Cape Henlopen strolled past Polytech when the teams last played back in January by a score of 72-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cape Henlopen since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
