After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DeSales, Valley was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Trimble County Raiders a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory snapped Valley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-12 record. As for Trimble County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Valley will head out to face off against North Bullitt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trimble County, they will head out on the road to square off against Louisville Collegiate at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
