After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Galena, Warren was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 51-47 win over the West Carroll Thunder. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won six in a row.

Warren's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lizzy Hartzell led the charge by dropping a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mayci Mullen, who posted 13 points.

Warren smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Warren's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-16. As for West Carroll, they dropped their record down to 7-20 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Warren didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-34 loss against River Ridge/Scales Mound on the 13th. As for West Carroll, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-24 defeat against East Dubuque on the 13th.
