Volleyball Recap: East Texas Homeschool Sports Takes a Loss

East Texas Homeschool Sports was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Brook Hill Guard. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Carlee Oliver paced East Texas Homeschool Sports' offense, picking up two kills. Oliver got some help from London Reitinger and her four assists. Finally, Martha Loomis kept East Texas Homeschool Sports' defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

East Texas Homeschool Sports' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Brook Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

East Texas Homeschool Sports has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cushing on the 21st. As for Brook Hill, they will welcome Westwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
