Basketball Recap: Gabriel Richard Comes Up Short

Gabriel Richard lost against Divine Child back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish fell 45-38 to the Divine Child Falcons. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gabriel Richard's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Divine Child, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Gabriel Richard will venture away from home to challenge Lumen Christi Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lumen Christi Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Gabriel Richard likes a good challenge. As for Divine Child, they and Lutheran North will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
