Volleyball Recap: Loyola Academy Takes a Loss

Loyola Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Deerfield Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Loyola Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Deerfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Loyola Academy and Deerfield will both be playing Glenbrook South the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Ramblers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
