River Valley hadn't done well against Roseville recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The River Valley Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Roseville Tigers 62-59. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 81-70 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead River Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yuvraj Dosanjh, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gurtaran Sanghu, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 14 points and six boards.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthias Howard, who went 8-for-14 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. Ren Marsh was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

River Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Roseville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.

River Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-46 defeat against Yuba City on the 7th. As for Roseville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-44 win against Del Campo on the 7th.
