Almeta Crawford came tearing into Friday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Stafford Spartans a 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 last Tuesday.

TJ Weaver looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
