Baseball Recap: Pecos Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Pecos's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Greenwood Rangers on Friday. The Eagles have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Pecos will be playing at home against Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Greenwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Fort Stockton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
