Volleyball Recap: Life Academy Comes Up Short

Life Academy lost against McClymonds back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Biohazards lost 3-0 to the Warriors.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McClymonds to victory, but perhaps none more so than DeArra Aikens, who hit 70% for eight kills and 25 aces and three digs. Those 70% hitting percentage gave Aikens a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zamiah Harvey, who hit 100% for seven kills and ten aces and three digs.

Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McClymonds, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Life Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Fremont on the 9th. As for McClymonds, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Madison Park Academy on the 9th.
