Volleyball Recap: Roxana Takes a Loss

Roxana lost against Salem back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Shells fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Shells have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-9.

Finley Puricelli was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs.

Roxana's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Salem, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Roxana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Southwestern on the 29th. As for Salem, they will face off against Wesclin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
