Softball Recap: Wartburg Central Bulldogs vs. Oliver Springs Bobcats
Wartburg Central won against Harriman last Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against the Oliver Springs Bobcats as they made off with a 10-3 win. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Braylen Melton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Melton was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Madi Aslinger was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Rayfield, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.
