Soccer Recap: Los Osos Comes Up Short

Los Osos lost against Upland back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Los Osos Grizzlies fell just short of the Upland Highlanders/Scots by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Highlanders/Scots are ranked 24th).

Los Osos dropped their record down to 3-6-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Upland, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Osos will venture away from home to square off against Damien at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Upland, they will head out on the road to face off against Etiwanda at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Upland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
