Volleyball Recap: Midtown Gets the Win

Midtown saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Northwest Classical Academy Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Estelle Leege paced Midtown's offense, picking up seven kills. Leege got some help from Lucy Konisky and her 11 assists. Brennan Fritts controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Midtown's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Northwest Classical Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Midtown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Perry on the 23rd. As for Northwest Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Anne-Pacelli on the 23rd.
