Basketball Recap: Pathways Piles Up the Points Against Creation Village World

Pathways had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 28-point drubbing they dealt Creation Village World on Friday. The Eagles took their matchup with ease, bagging a 70-42 win over the Riverhawks. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 28 points or more this season.

Pathways' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leonardo Mariscal, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Na'Shon Wright, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 14 points along with four blocks and three steals.

Pathways smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.
