After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Tri-Valley finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They came up short against the Dover Crimson Tornadoes, falling 7-1. The Scotties' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Tri-Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Harrold, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Dover, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will take on Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Scotties' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Generals have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Dover, they will face off against Indian Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Crimson Tornadoes surely won't give up without a fight.
