Southern Fulton strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the McConnellsburg Spartans, sneaking past 5-3. Five seems to be a good number for the Indians as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Southern Fulton's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Joel Fitz, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another was Colt Mann, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Southern Fulton pushed their record up to 15-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for McConnellsburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Coincidentally, Southern Fulton and McConnellsburg will both be playing Fannett Metal the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face Fannett Metal at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
