Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Sunrise Mountain saw some tournament action on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cheyenne Desert Shields.

Sunrise Mountain's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Cheyenne, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Sunrise Mountain and Cheyenne will both be playing Bonanza the next time they take the court. Sunrise Mountain will head out to face Bonanza at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Cheyenne will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
