Harbor Creek is a perfect 7-0 against Erie since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Huskies will take on the Royals at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Wednesday, Harbor Creek didn't have quite enough to beat General McLane and fell 3-2. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lucas Hanson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Erie nor Warren made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Royals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Dragons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Royals have posted since May 1, 2024.

Erie's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chase Benedict, who went 2-for-4 with one triple. Another was Antonio Colao, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Erie's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. As for Harbor Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Everything went Harbor Creek's way against Erie in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as Harbor Creek made off with an 11-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
