Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Takes a Loss

Liberty Christian came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the St. Mark's Lions and fell 80-47. The Warriors were down 64-35 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Liberty Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Patrick Jameson went 5-for-7 on his way to 13 points. Thanks to that strong game, Jameson now owns an excellent 45.2% shooting accuracy. Jacob Thompson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Liberty Christian fell to 3-1.

Coming up, Liberty Christian will host Greenhill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mark's, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Roosevelt at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
