Softball Recap: Braxton County Takes a Loss

Braxton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Poca Dots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Saturday.

Braxton County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Conrad, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Braxton County's record now sits at 0-14. As for Poca, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Braxton County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against South Harrison on the 22nd. As for Poca, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Calhoun on the 22nd.
