Soccer Recap: Covington Takes a Loss

Covington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Terre Haute North Vigo Patriots. While losing is never fun, Covington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 212th, while Terre Haute North Vigo are ranked 73rd).

Covington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for Terre Haute North Vigo, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covington will face off against Lafayette Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Terre Haute North Vigo, they will challenge Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
