Softball Recap: Fall River Comes Up Short

Fall River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-0 to the Mt. Shasta Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Friday.

Fall River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mt. Shasta, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5-1.

Coincidentally, Fall River and Mt. Shasta will both be playing Modoc the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on May 2.
