Football Game Preview: Knox Redskins vs. Mishawaka Marian Knights

Two dominant backs in Myles McLaughlin and Vinny Gruber are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Knox Redskins will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Mishawaka Marian Knights at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Knox's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Knox is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Griffith 50-35. 50 seems to be a good number for the Redskins as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Mishawaka Marian fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Calumet New Tech 43-8. With the Knights ahead 28-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Knox's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Mishawaka Marian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Knox was able to grind out a solid win over Mishawaka Marian in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 12-0. Will the Redskins repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
