Basketball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin lost against Bucktail back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Austin Panthers lost 67-43 to the Bucktail Bucks. The Panthers were down 52-31 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Austin dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bucktail, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Austin won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Oswayo Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bucktail, they will take on Muncy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Muncy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bucktail surely won't give up without a fight.
