Basketball Game Preview: Sutherlin Bulldogs vs. South Umpqua Lancers

Sutherlin has gone 9-1 against South Umpqua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Sutherlin Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the South Umpqua Lancers at 6:00 p.m. Sutherlin's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so South Umpqua's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Sutherlin ended up a good deal behind Cascade Christian and lost 44-28.

Meanwhile, South Umpqua came up short against Glide on Friday, falling 47-22. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Sutherlin's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for South Umpqua, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Everything came up roses for Sutherlin against South Umpqua when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 50-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sutherlin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
