Softball Game Preview: Jeffersontown Chargers vs. Fairdale Bulldogs

The Jeffersontown Chargers will face off against the Fairdale Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Jeffersontown will be strutting in after a victory while Fairdale will be coming in after a loss.

Jeffersontown is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Seneca a 16-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Red Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Fairdale lost 16-5 to Spencer County on Wednesday.

Fairdale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Krebs, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Krebs is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Another was Lilly Hernandez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
