Soccer Recap: Richmond Finishes Even with Porter Ridge

Richmond came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Porter Ridge Pirates finished up their game with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Raiders' first draw of the season.

Richmond's draw makes their record 2-6-1 this season. As for Porter Ridge, they moved theirs to 5-3-3.

Coming up, Richmond will head out to take on Uwharrie Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Richmond's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Porter Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
