Volleyball Recap: St. Charles North Starts off Right with Win over Rosary + How To Watch

St. Charles North had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Rosary Royals by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The North Stars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Charles North was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-4.

St. Charles North's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Kashuba led the charge by getting five digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Kashuba a new career-high.

Kashuba wasn't the only good server: St. Charles North was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rosary only served one ace.

St. Charles North has already played their next game (against Glenbrook South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rosary, they will challenge St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
