Basketball Recap: Mounds View Comes Up Short

Mounds View lost against East Ridge back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mounds View Mustangs lost to the East Ridge Raptors at home by a 60-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Raptors are ranked 31st).

Mounds View dropped their record down to 10-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for East Ridge, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.
