Soccer Recap: Divine Savior Academy Falls Short of Florida Christian in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Divine Savior Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Florida Christian Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Isabella Gomez and Sarai Musalan scored both of Divine Savior Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Divine Savior Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11. As for Florida Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7-2 record this season.

Divine Savior Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Florida Christian, they will square off against Ransom Everglades at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
