They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. It was the first time this season that the Golden Eagles let down their fans at home.

Griffin Burak was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Eldorado saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Wofford, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Those two hits gave Wofford a new career-high.

Atrisco Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Eldorado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
