There's no place like home for Cleveland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Ooltewah Owls 9-1 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Collin Stuart made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Owen Goglio, who went 2-for-4 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 13 games. Another player making a difference was Charley Atha, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Cleveland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. Ooltewah has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6-1 record this season.

Cleveland and Ooltewah will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Cleveland will challenge rival McMinn County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ooltewah is set to take on their familiar foe Bradley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
