Volleyball Recap: Larkin Comes Up Short

Larkin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Zee-Bees when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Larkin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Zion-Benton, their win bumped their record up to 11-18.

Looking ahead, Larkin will take on Grayslake Central in a tournament on Saturday. As for Zion-Benton, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Wheeling at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Zee-Bees surely won't give up without a fight.
