Basketball Recap: Stadium Comes Up Short

Stadium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 70-26 loss at the hands of the Kentridge Chargers. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-15.

Kentridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Miley Lam, who posted 12 points and eight steals. Lam is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Simone Brown, who went 5 of 6 on her way to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Stadium's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kentridge, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Stadium wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 34-31 loss against Graham-Kapowsin on the 14th. As for Kentridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-41 defeat against Issaquah on the 14th.
