Volleyball Recap: Rolla Victorious

Rolla picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Southern Boone Eagles by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rolla was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13.

Rylee Dodson paced Rolla's offense, picking up six kills. Dodson got some help from Jozlin Cole and her eight assists. Bridgette Starns controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Rolla's win bumped their record up to 9-10-4. As for Southern Boone, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season.

Rolla has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sullivan on the 4th. As for Southern Boone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Linn on the 4th.
