Basketball Recap: Allen Academy Triumphs

Allen Academy's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Riesel Indians 46-43. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

With the win, Allen Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Riesel, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Allen Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-34 defeat against Snook on the 11th. As for Riesel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-53 loss against Dawson on the 9th.
