Softball Recap: Howell Takes a Loss

Howell fell victim to Salem and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocks. The Highlanders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Howell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caitlin Watripont, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Howell's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Salem, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3-1.

Looking ahead, Howell is taking a road trip to face off against Anchor Bay at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday. As for Salem, they will be playing at home against South Lyon East at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
