Softball Recap: West Geauga Comes Up Short

West Geauga managed to slip by Perry the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines lost 11-1 to the Pirates on Thursday. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

West Geauga saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Gambatese, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Ava Borz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

West Geauga's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Perry, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Coming up, West Geauga will venture away from home to challenge Wickliffe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry, they will welcome Madison at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
