Baseball Recap: Estero Comes Up Short

Estero came into this matchup off a tough nine-run defeat last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Aubrey Rogers Patriots by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Estero saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Estero now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Aubrey Rogers, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Estero will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Lehigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aubrey Rogers, they will host Oasis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
