Soccer Game Preview: Thurston vs. Sheldon

The Thurston Colts will head out to face off against the Sheldon Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Thurston is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Churchill on Thursday. The Colts and the Lancers finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Sheldon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of North Eugene. While losing is never fun, Sheldon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while North Eugene are ranked tenth).

With that draw, Thurston's record moves to 5-3-1. As for Sheldon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1.
