A Season-Best Performance from Julian Lewis Leads Carrollton over East Coweta

On Friday, Carrollton got the W thanks in part to Julian Lewis playing the best football he has all season. Lewis threw for 416 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per attempt.

Lewis must have East Coweta's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lewis saw the Indians), he threw for 455 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.7 yards per attempt.

Sean Smith Delivers Best Performance of Season

Sean Smith produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Westlake to the win on Friday. Smith threw for 271 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes.

Westlake's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Smith and Westlake will host East Coweta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Carrollton picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Peyton Zachary. Zachary turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Zachary and Carrollton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Douglas County at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st. Zachary will face off against Aaron Gregory, the Tigers' star receiver. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
