Basketball Recap: Morris Knolls Takes a Loss

Morris Knolls was the 51-26 winner over Mountain Lakes when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Morris Knolls Golden Eagles took a 43-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Lakes Lakers on Saturday.

Morris Knolls' loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Mountain Lakes, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

The future could be bright for both Morris Knolls and Mountain Lakes: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Morris Knolls will look to extend Wayne Hills' 11-game losing streak when they meet on Wednesday. Similarly, Mountain Lakes will try to hand North Warren Regional their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet on Wednesday.
